Certain Vanguard pieces that are constructed of Burl wood are either Mappa Burl Veneers or Olive Ash Burl Veneers. While you are free to choose any wood finish, we have tested our finishes on Burl wood and recommend the following finishes for best results. NOTE: Styles finished in a Personalized Burl finish option will not have physical distressing.
